tense
If I stepped into the light
And left my reflection
Standing in doorways
And not look behind
If I coloured by the signs
In shadows and tones
Kissing in corners
And not look behind
If I slipped into the quiet
A melody strong
Glowing in darkness
And not look behind
If I stepped into the light
And left my reflection
Standing in doorways
And not look behind
If I fell between the lines
Distant and drawn
Waiting by streetlights
And not look behind
If I let the moments rise
Discover and fall
Hanging in hallways
And not look behind
I'd go crashing to the end
Crashing to the end

Time and reflection
"It's good to pay attention to things that are said today. There's a world of information itching to get out, some of it innovative and probably very interesting to you and your methodical way of thinking. Energy levels should be stronger than usual too, so try to fit in some form of physical activity into your day too. If a friend asks for your help, do not withhold it because it'll make you feel really good to give it." - Virgo
Feels like i have a lot to think about now.. Although it feels like ive overcome the stressors of school, chilling is no longer worth it. I have to plan in the long term if i want to do well at the end of the year..
Now is the time to take the initiative, because time wont wait for me to study. I need to use the time that i have to the best of my ability. Which really questions other things...
I hate how i put myself in this position..
Today at the retreat was good, instead of sitting there laughing at other peoples inputs, i put in my stories and my experiences and it ended up being really fulfilling. How to deal with stress and how not to deal with stress.. and also you figure out who you want to be around and who you want to take beyond highschool.
Plus smoking at the pier watching the blue horizon really calms you down.. not that i was smoking haha.

Lonsdale/Spencer Street Power Station: Brief history:
The site provided Melbourne's first self-generated electric power, and operated continuously as a power station between 1892 and 1982. The prominent rendered brick building and chimney on Lonsdale St were built in 1953. Some of the buildings are contaminated with asbestos and polychlorinated biphenyls. It is remembered predominately for the hippy slogans painted down the skyline-height chimney in neat white paint.
In May 2006 the site was sold for $7.6 million to Russian developers Vladimir Stepanov, Dmitri Bril and Oleg Mogilnitskiy. Since then, Guilfoyle Wreckers and Australian Technical Services have begun decontamination and demolition work on the site. The expected market value of the site is now worth over $60 Million.

After:
Another victim of money driven developers that have yet again destroyed more of Melbourne's History. In this case, the last remaining reminder of the tough-overall wearing working class Melbourne in the 1800s.

Dreams
Dreams have a price tag and knowing the right people, theres no such thing as being given your future.
kidding, not a emotive blog.
I guess the future is too ahead of us to think of ourselves five steps ahead.
Beautiful :(
Anyway, feels like holidays are going too fast. Been at work doing my best to remember everything (I dated something october before.. gg)... then folio prep which turned out to be okay.
Had mac-biffle day today, fun :)
Anyway folio piece:
Teacher came to us and told us to design a egg packaging. Thats all she said with no restrictions. So while everyone else was making egg cartons, i decided to make my egg a sofa-chair.
I started off with a basic design in my head and proceeded to hands on first.
Its a circular shape. Bent the bitch with my hand and it turned out okay, only my fingers were fucked for a few days (I discovered a pair of pliers too late)
Then i tried different types of material on it and it ended up looking like this. So i got out the big guns and got wire double the thickness. I started off trying to weave my sofa chair but ended up strangling the frame. So i decided to use some glue and tissue paper and layer the bitch.
End Result:
Shape turned out pretty good :) Tissue paper really helped me shape the grooves and everything nicely, it was easier than using clay and shaping it. It turned out pretty strong because of the metal as well.
So I couldnt use this on its own for a folio piece, so i got pieces of white board and cut it down for awhile till i made myself a little room:

Pictures dont show the detail, but it looks pretty good in real life :P
Final:
Laters :)
